OPF Boys College celebrates 23 March (Pakistan Day)
Our ancestors offered great sacrifices to achieve an independent homeland for the Muslims of the Indian subcontinent. No freedom would have been possible had the muslims of the Indian subcontinent not been guided by the vision of a poet-philosopher Dr Allama Iqbal and the charismatic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
These thoughts were expressed by speakers Mr. Shaheed Ahmed Khan, Mr. Salman Jawadi and Mr. Khuzaeymah Bin Nasir at OPF Boys College, H-8/4, Islamabad on 31 March in connection with a ceremony held to celebrate the resolution passed by the Muslim League on 23 March 1940.
Chief Guest for the occasion was Barrister Amjad Malik, Chairman Board of Governors, OPF, The Chief Guest said that he was deeply impressed with the great nationalist enthusiasm and patriotic fervour expressed by the students in the their speeches.
The College Principal Mr Muhammad Siddique lauded the efforts put by the students, teachers and administrative staff to celebrate a national day in its true spirit. He thanked the chief guest for honouring the occasion with his presence.
